White. Grey. Black. That was the sober pallet used while I was testing this site, and in the end I decided to keep only those. No color whatsoever entered the scene. It’s a relief to work without real colors. It allowed me to focus on the coding itself instead of pondering about what color goes best with another, and so on. I even thought about discarding all greys altogether and do something entirely black/white, but I don’t think it would do the job any justice. I only needed a clean, clear online frame to put my work in and I hope I succeeded in that?

For those who know me, I’m a bit of a graphical beachcomber; a ‘bricoleur’ o’ all things graphical and illustrative. So the portfolio has a lot of styles to offer. I’m not sure what I like best, and I can’t often decide if a ‘realistic’ assignment is more rewarding compared to something ’stylistic’ or even just ‘plain fast’ for a commercial company, but I like doing a bunch o’ stuff. So feel free to rest yer eyes on my illustrations, the sketches and so on.

Besides the illustrative work, I am also succombed by the magic that lies behind the many web languages needed to create websites: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and so on. So there’s a lot of monitor-gazing going on lately, and a steady flow of coffee to keep them eyelids open at night.

Oh, I almost forget: I will also try to do my very best to keep this (another) weblog alive. So bear with me till my next post!
